Only interested in Messiah? Messiah is always free for singers and audience, we expect rehearsals to start after our November concert.
RiverChor will present their fall concert on Sunday, November 21, at 3:00pm. The concert will explore songs of crisis, including “Think on Me” and Haydn’s “Agnus Dei”; and songs of hope such as “Saints Bound for Heaven”, “I Shall Not Live in Vain”, and “Hope is Like a Feather”.
The concert is free, donations are appreciated.

Covid protocols: The choir has been rehearsing in masks, and will wear them for the concert. We will have full lyrics available. Zion Lutheran recommends masks as per CDC for the audience, however they are not required. Seating is general admission, you are welcome to sit as close or far from others as you are comfortable.
Join RiverChor on Sunday, November 17, at 3:00 PM (note the new time!) at Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton, Iowa. The fall concert of our 16th season will feature the choral music of women composers and arrangers, dating from the 12th century to contemporary. The choir consists of 50 members ranging in age from 15 to 70 that come from eight communities within the Gateway Area of eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Our directors are Karl Wolf and Chris Marple; our pianist is Christine Holmer. Admission is free, donations are welcome.

Are you interested in singing with RiverChor? We are having auditions on Sunday, September 11 from 1-3 pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton, Iowa. You do not need to prepare anything, and auditions take about 10 minutes.

Do you enjoy singing, or know someone who does? We invite all Gateway area vocalists to audition for RiverChor. Auditions last about 10 minutes, and there is no need to prepare anything. We have openings in all sections.
